Busy Fingers
Made by: Charlotte Shuff
The Busy Fingers of Faith Lutheran Church is a group of ladies with one thing in common - their "busy fingers." The group originated in 1966 under the guidance of Dorcas Wilson, with six other women, for the purpose of making quilts for the Good Neighbors organization of Akron. The group uses donated fabric and clothing, which they cut, piece and stitch to make warm bed covers for the needy. Busy Fingers has made over 100 quilts each year.
