Choir
Made by: Laurie Barr
The choir inspires worshippers with their musical leadership. Faith's first choir director was Miriam Haynes, and the first organist was Margaret Lange. The senior and junior choirs wore new white robes on Palm Sunday, 1956. After wearing red robes for several decades, the choir now is attired in blue robes. A 1955 church newsletter reported that the choir needed more men's voices (Some things never change!) The choir has been ably led over the years by several directors, including a lengthy tenure by musician and church member Lowell Unger. Scott McVey currently holds the position.
