Communion

Bread and wine are shared in the sacrament of Communion. The first Communion service of the new Faith congregation was held on July 24, 1955. "One of the most direct ways to encounter Christ is in Communion. Jesus says to us, 'take and eat; this is my body, given for you; …this cup is the new covenant in my blood, shed for you.' When we share this meal, we know that Jesus is truly with us."
