Easter
Made by: Judy Vernon
A butterfly traditionally represents Easter and Resurrection. One of our favorite Easter hymns reminds us that "Christ is risen! Alleluia! Risen our victorious head! Sing his praises! Alleluia! Christ is risen from the dead! …Christ is risen! All the sadness of our Lenten fast is o'er; Through the open gates of gladness He returns to life once more. …All the doubting and dejection of our trembling hearts have ceased. Hail the day of resurrection! Let us rise and keep the feast." Please join us during Lent, a period of preparation, and for the joyous Easter worship services (call the church office at 330. 836.8872 for a calendar of events surrounding Lent and Easter).
