Pastor Elaine LePoris was called in December 1986 to become Faith's second associate pastor. Pastor LePoris had been a chaplain at a medical facility. While at Faith, she was responsible for educational life, congregational life, and social ministries of the congregation. She resigned in 1989 to become interim pastor at Faith Lutheran Church, Massillon. Pastor LePoris unexpectedly died in early 1998.
