Memorial Day Weekend Camping

The scenes in this square bring back memories for many church families who camped together on Memorial Day weekends for many years. Campers gathered around a big campfire, sang all the old camp songs, played silly campfire games (passing the scissors, etc.), organized the traditional egg toss as well as other contests for all ages, held a worship service on Sunday mornings, and invited the congregation to join us for a pot luck dinner later. It was amazing to see what great food appeared from camper kitchens!
