Vacation Church School students planted a tree in the courtyard in 1964 (unfortunately, it grow too well, and its roots threatened the foundation and it had to be taken down). The first Vacation Church School was held in June 1957 under the direction of then-Pastor Sauer. 62 children attended. Vacation Church School continues to the present and is usually held in July. Children of non-members are always welcome. Call the church for details (330-836-8872).
