What’s New
What’s New on faithlutheranchurch.org - Many of you are aware that Faith Lutheran Church has its very own website. In fact, it is approaching its 10 year anniversary this coming September and nearly 100,000 visitors have been logged since its creation.
It is a great resource to visit. You can find out about the history of Faith Lutheran Church, the different ministries and small groups available, and even meet some of the people at Faith. Plus, you can go to the website to sign up to receive the ENews Letter and the Prayerchain. But this is just the tip of the iceberg! There have even been some recent additions that make online communication more possible.
One of the newer areas of the site are the FaithLutheranChurch BLOG which is designed to be an online community. Blogs are very popular on the internet and this could be a fantastic area of global communication for us and a real chance for us to reach out.
The other new area is the Faith Lutheran Forums. Carolyn Wagar Hier is in the process of posting daily Lenten Devotionals in the Forum area and Ed Rich has created one for Technology where people can learn about the internet and ask questions.
So if you like to surf the internet or just have a spare moment, check out www.faithlutheranchurch.org!

Thank You
To Our Faith Family: We would like to thank all of you for your prayers, visits, meals and well-wishes during Bill’s illness and after his death. We would not have been able to get through the last month without all of your love and support.
The beautiful prayer shawl was a comfort to Bill (and us) during his stay at Edwin Shaw and Hospice. Thank you to all of our friends who organized the wonderful luncheon after the memorial service and to those who took part in the service. What a beautiful celebration of Bill’s life.
Yours in Christ, Polly Dobkin and Kit, Brian, Kelly and John Scheetz

Hi,

Thank You
Dear Pastor Jean, I am thankful for all the prayers and well wishes of the congregation. I was so blessed and surprised by the beautiful prayer shawl I received. What a blessing! It kept me warm and I feel the prayers from the people and the person who made it. I will treasure the shawl forever. I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and good wishes for me to get well again. It means so much! I am so blessed. In Christian love, Martha Gruetz
Thank You
My Dearest Friends in the Celebration Choir,
You cannot imagine how substantially you lifted my spirits as you came streaming through the door of our home around noon today. What a pleasant and most welcome surprise!! Never in my long life have I been so deeply touched as when our superb director, Bob, announced that you would sing several anthems in my honor. I was forced to bow my head and tears began to form while listening to your music as you demonstrated your enduring love for me.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your presence, your musicianship, your humorous “smiles” card, the gorgeous daffodils set in a unique tricycle basket (which will be planted later) and the delicious baked goods.
I love you all!!! Milan Rolik
