PARKING REQUEST
On June 19 the NEW worship schedule will begin at Faith Lutheran Church. Parking may be a bit tight, since there will be only 15 minutes between services, so the Church Council makes these suggestions. PLEASE leave the first row of parking spaces, particularly those near the doors, for those with mobility challenges. WHY NOT get a bit of exercise by parking in the spaces in the far corners of the lot or in the bank parking lot to the east? REMEMBER, the West Market Street doors are unlocked; consider parking in front of the church (facing east) or in the parking lot across the street. LESS CONGESTION will occur if those attending the 9:15 a.m. service park on the west side of the lot and those attending 10:30 a.m. worship park on the east side.
We thank you in advance for your graciousness during this time of transition!!!

Show Off Your Faith!
At the Volunteer Appreciation April 11, we gave away 20 door prizes. These prizes were golf shirts and canvas tote bags with Faith Lutheran Church embroidered on them.
Needless to say, our winners were thrilled and many wondered if they could purchase these items. Not to worry! “Faith” items are available to order. We have t-shirts for kids, golf shirts for men and women in many gorgeous colors, and tote bags in two styles. One dollar from the price of each item ordered goes to help pay for the 50th anniversary luncheon for those who might need financial assistance.
This is a great way to “advertise” our church…especially at outreach events like Great American Bake Sale and Fourth of July water give away! Look for “samples” on the blue Velcro display board and place your order soon!

Faith Member News
Congratulations to Dr. Joseph Dankoff whose name was included in the “Top Docs in Northeast Ohio” list in the April edition of Northern Ohio Live magazine. Those listed were chosen by their peers for this honor. We give thanks for the many ways Joe shares his medical expertise to minister to people who face medical challenges.
Busy Fingers
Our last day to meet will be May 24. We will resume meeting in September.
Float Organizers Needed
People are needed to oversee the July 4 Float project. The congregation’s participation in the Fairlawn July 4 parade has been a fun outreach project in recent years, and a way that the church is made visible to the community.
In the past band members have overseen this project, but they will not be doing so this year due to multiple ministry commitments.
This volunteer opportunity involves registering for the parade, making arrangements for the trailer and a vehicle to pull it, decorating and recruiting congregation members to walk with the float along the parade route. The band is able to ride on the float and provide music, as has been true in the past.
The Fairlawn July 4 parade is held in the evening of July 4, a Monday this year. If you can volunteer, please contact Carolyn Wagar.
Dear Friends,
As many of you know, I have the privilege of singing with one of our countries finest orchestras. The Cleveland Orchestra has been heralded by Time Magazine as one of the best in the world. This coming summer the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus will be accompanying the orchestra on a tour to Lucerne, Switzerland and London, England.
The Cleveland Orchestra Chorus has to raise their won money for the tour, as the orchestra budget doesn’t provide for overseas expenses for us. As a gesture of support many members of the orchestra are putting on a special benefit concert to aid the chorus in collecting the funds necessary to make this extraordinary trip.
Come and hear the members of the orchestra like you’ve never heard them before, playing their favorite pieces. Past concerts have been highly entertaining with a variety of music to suit everyone’s taste. I hope that you will be able to attend this special concert and support thie Cleveland Orchestra Chorus.
Thank you, Marilyn Wilson

Lisa Bryson and children Jillian, Jayme, and Connor (Lisa’s husband is Michael) Kimberly Felton (Kimberly’s husband Scott joined Faith in 2004) John and Pamela Krueger Michael and Julie Magons and children Corinne, Jocelyn, Natalie, and Andrew John and Wendy Roddy and children Justine, Kirsten, and Brendan; Dick and Jil Williams
Thank You!
Thank you to my Faith Family for all the prayers, cards and support following my recovery. Norma White
To the Preschool:
Thank you for your extremely generous donations of toys you have given to the juvenile court. We will share the toys with Children Services Board to give to the children involved in abused, dependent and neglected cases.
As you know, many of these children do not have positive role models in their lives, so for them to receive a toy from someone can have a great impact on them. It shows that others do care about them.
Thank you again for all you have done for the children involved in our juvenile court system. We greatly appreciate your thinking of them. Sincerely,
Judge Linda Tucci Teodosio
From Connie Humble, Summit County Children Services:
Dear Mrs. Butler : On behalf of the Board of Trustees, staff, and children served, thank you for your recent donation of 220 filled baskets for our Easter Program.
Your donation as well as your assistance with acquiring donations from your congregation has helped to provide us with the means to distribute over 1200 Easter baskets.
Over the years you and your church members have enhanced the quality of life to many of our children under care with your thoughtfulness of donations. Your continued commitment and support has made a difference to these children.
Again, thank you for your donation and to the continuous support you provide to the children at Summit County Children Services.
