Boy Scout Troop #390 The Troop meets weekly at Faith on Tuesday evenings. It is composed of over 30 boys of Junior and Senior High School age. The group has received numerous awards for excellence. While there are several adult leaders, Boy Scouts is about learning leadership as well as camping/survival skills. |
Cub Scout Pack #3390 This Pack sponsored by Faith is composed of Boys primarily from St. Hilary and Herberick Elementary Schools. There are approximately 70 boys in the Pack. The Pack is subdivided into Dens that meet weekly with the Pack meeting once per month. There is a high degree of parental involvment required. |

12 Step Groups These groups are designed to help individuals overcome addictive behaviors or needs that are counterproductive for the self and others. Faith enables two Alcoholics Anonymous groups and one Al-Anon group to meet weekly. |
Habitat for Humanity This is a national organization that buildings quality housing for those whose income makes it impossible to acquire such housing by any other means. Faith has been part of a six church consortium that has built a number of homes in recent years. |

Salvation Army Giving Tree: Every Christmas Faith participates in a city-wide program that enables children in our community who are in financial need to receive a gift at Christmas, a gift which they might not otherwise receive. |
Opportunity Parish Ecumenical Neighborhood Ministries OPEN M is a non-profit agency that staffs a Free Medical Clinic; a Food Pantry; hot lunch program, tutoring and literacy programs for youth and adults; Food Baskets at Christmas and Easter; plust such programs as Moving Families Out of Poverty, Friends of Children, summer recreation programs and the Rubber City Work Camp. Faith is a Covenant Church of OPEN M. |

Summit County Children's Services Board Each Fall, Faith puts together School Boxes to help children unable to afford initial school supplies before the opening of school. These school boxes are distributed by the social workers of the Children's Services Board. Each spring, Faith members put together dozens of Easter Baskets that feature not only Easter candy but needed items for school and home. |
Soup for Hospice Hospice is a 26-bed, freestanding Hospice Care Center located in Copley, Ohio. Hospice focuses on the unique needs of patients and their families during the final stages of illness and during the bereavement period. Faith members prepare soup meals for the families visiting their loved ones during the last days of their loved one. |

Faith Preschool Our Pre-school is a wholly owned and operated Christian preschool for 3-5 year olds. Currently, the preschool has 150 children enrolled. Depending upon the program, classes meet two, three or five days per week. The program is supported by tuition and the congregation and is open to the community |
The Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, The Faith Unit has a number of ministries. Most notable are the Busy Fingers who meet weekly to make lap robes which are then distributed through the East Akron Good Neighbors. Busy Fingers have been providing this ministry for over 20 years. Their quilts often accompany boxes of food and serve not only as blankets for
the homeless but also for the newborn. |
