Community Garden News
That old groundhog may have predicted six more weeks of winter, but it is time for us at Faith to begin planning the community garden. Faith’s Community Garden produce supports the OPEN M food pantry.
There are many ways you can be involved:
- Maintain a plot (you can mix it up and include a diversity of vegetables, flowers and herbs).
- Procure topsoil and soil amendments.
- Help spread topsoil and fertilizer.
- Help lay landscape fabric.
- Help with harvesting.
- Deliver produce to Open-M (Monday delivery).
The Faith-ful Gardeners will meet Saturday, March 6th at 11:00 am in the Youth Room. All are welcome! Please join us to learn more about the garden or call Faith member Debbie Gottas at 330-592-4251.
