ELCA Day of Service
One Worship Service - 10 a.m. in the Sanctuary
Followed by First Serve activities. This year EVERYONE is encouraged to participate in one of the First Serve projects as part of our ELCA Day of Service. Projects will be offered for morning, afternoon or all day; there will be non-strenuous and family-friendly events and various cultural emersion experiences. Please note that the First Serve send-off service will be at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 10 at Trinity UCC, 915 N. Main St. Faith members may attend this service, or our combined 10 a.m. Sunday worship, or both!
PLEASE NOTE: This year there will be no projects at Faith Lutheran Church, although a family friendly opportunity at DLM, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, will run from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. A few of the jobs to help with are organizing clothing rooms and other areas, labeling shoes, assembling hygiene bags and more. Please sign-up on the sheet at the Welcome Center Desk or the table in the Narthex. Lunch will be provided.
