Learning and Discerning Together: Biblical Perspectives on Welcome
In October and November, Pastor Sandy Selby led a four-week discussion of biblical and theological perspectives on same-gender relationships during our Sunday morning Adult Discussion Time.
She will offer a 1-1/2 hour summary of that series on Monday, January 13 at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, February 15 at 10 a.m. in the Meeting Room. In addition to examining a range of biblical and theological viewpoints on same-gender relationships, we will review recent research about evolving societal views on same-gender relationships and examine the ways in which generational differences in acceptance of LGBTQ persons are impacting church membership in evangelical and mainline churches. All adults and youth are welcome to join in this opportunity to learn and discern, together.
