Faith is partnering with First Serve and United Way this year to provide a backpack of school supplies for students of need in the Akron Public Schools. Please consider donating items from the supply list below or making a monetary contribution. Please make your checks out to Faith Lutheran, memo line: school supplies. We will be accepting donations through August 11, 2019.
Note: Faith’s normal partner Summit County Children’s Services who gathered school supplies in the past is not doing so this year.
Supply List (fills one backpack):
- 10 #2 pencils
- 1 pack of 24 count Crayola crayons
- 1 large eraser
- 1 zippered pencil pouch
- 1 plastic school box
- 2 glue sticks
- 2 black dry erase markers
- 3 folders with pockets
- 1 package of notebook paper (wide ruled)
- 2 highlighters
