Donations Being Collected In Honor of Bishop Allende
To honor the Rev. Abraham Allende's six years as bishop of our Northeastern Ohio Synod, and his upcoming retirement, the executive committee invites members of the synod, individuals and congregations, to join in contributing to the Bishop's Gift for Gratitude and Appreciation. All gifts will be divided between Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service and the Immigrant Worker Project, two organizations supported by Bishop Allende. Checks can be made out to Faith Lutheran Church or the Northeastern Ohio Synod and placed in the offering plate or mailed to the church. Please indicate it is for the Bishop's Fund. (Or you can donate online at neos-elca.org/donate/ through the synod's Tithe.ly app.) We will accept gifts through the end of Bishop Allende's term, November 30.
