In 2016 an opportunity was presented to the members of Faith to provide support for poor children in Thailand, who through no fault of their own, were abandoned by one or both of their parents. The House of Grace has rescued many of these children and provides them with a safe home and a good Christian based education. The foundation has to rely on the generosity of others to help provide for everyday living expenses, school tuition, uniforms and school supplies. Faith has made a commitment to support five children, which means that we are responsible for the expenses mentioned above. A year’s room and board, tuition, uniforms and supplies for five children comes to $6,600.00.
If you wish to make a contribution, please make your check out to Faith Lutheran Church and in the memo portion of the check write Youth Charity Foundation Thailand. Your contribution will be put into a special fund and you will receive a charitable tax deduction in your end of the year statement.
