Day of Service

Sunday, September 13, 2020

Hello Faith Family!

I sure am missing being out there with you all. Despite this interruption in our lives, we are still on for plenty of opportunities to serve and share the Grace of God this year on our ELCA Day of Service. On Sunday, September 13, after our worship concludes at approximately 10 AM, volunteers will have the chance to head out or stay in for multiple opportunities to serve. Via the link below, please find which First Serve job being offered might be just perfect for you. Act fast, as many of these spots fill fast. Sign up with First Serve here.

In addition, you have the opportunity to stay right there at Faith and participate in Rise Against Hunger 2. Please contact Rob Kerr at  or call/text at 330-714-3612 to sign up for one of the following opportunities that are available at Faith:

  • Unload Rise Against Hunger Truck 10:15 or 10:30 AM - 6 volunteers needed.
  • Work the meal prep and packaging operation in the Fellowship Hall, once supplies are brought in - 15 volunteers maximum are needed for approximately 4 hours. Load truck with blessings - 6 volunteers needed.
  • Stand outside and wave as the blessing of nutritious meals for our world’s most underprivileged brothers and sisters drive off into the sunset.

I hope to hear from you soon! Please let me know if you sign up for a spot with First Serve so I may include you in our reports. Thank you all and

God Bless!

Gratefully Yours,
Rob Kerr
