TROOP 390 invites the community to a Flag Retirement Ceremony at 12:30 p.m. on June 2 at Faith Lutheran Church. Flag “retirement” is the term used to define the proper, dignified way of destroying United States flags that are in such condition that they are no longer a fitting emblem to display. This is preferably done by burning. Flags to be retired may be brought to the church anytime in May.
