Interfaith Justice Series - Uniting for Public Safety

Wednesday night was the fourth of our 5-part Interfaith Justice Alliance Series - Uniting for Public Safety. The theme was Public Safety: How Schools Strive to Be Safe, with St. Hilary Catholic Church as our host for the evening. Members and friends from Faith Lutheran, New Hope Baptist, St. Hilary Catholic, Prince of Peace Baptist, Temple Israel and other congregations, enjoyed sharing a meal and visiting with one another. Following worship we listened to a panel of teachers and principals from Buchtel and Helen Arnold Community Learning Centers and St. Hilary School, which was followed by table discussions about how to keep schools safe for our children.
