Youth Ministry is continuing even though we have to practice Physical Distance!
Sunday, July 19 from 8:30-9:30 am they are gathering for morning prayer and a socially distanced hike at Sand Run Metro Park.
Sunday Worship
Youth and their families are invited to 'come as they are and stay in their cars' to attend worship in the parking lot at Faith. The majority of our families are still not ready to attend worship in-person/indoors. We park near one another and tuning into the service via facebook.
Connecting through Zoom
We try to meet via Zoom once a week, generally on Wednesday, late afternoon. The meeting links always go out via Remind text service as well as email!
Preparing for the 2021 National Youth Gathering
Keep your eye open for an informational meeting for youth who want to attend the 2021 National Gathering in Minneapolis. Even though the Gathering has 'paused' the majority of the planning due to the pandemic, we are trying to firm up commitments for when things move forward.
If you have a child in your life who is Middle, High School, or College please reach out to Eric (faithlcyouth@gmail.com) to be added to the youth email and Remind communications. All youth are welcome, they do not need to members of Faith Lutheran.
