After presenting the Meal-in-a-Bag kit project to LaMonica Davis, principal at Helen Arnold CLC, John and Dana Singer were invited to the Back to School Bash on August 25, where they passed out samples of the meals.
Meal-in-a-Bag is a project created by Sue Harman. The congregation is invited to take a tag from the Meal-in-a-Bag tree, located in the Welcome Center, and bring in the items. On September 13, ELCA Day of Service, volunteers will assemble the bags to be delivered to organizations that help those in need.
